Renew & Restore.

Why Sozo

We’re John & Jill, owners of Sozo Home Renovations and proud managers of the craziest, most beautiful blended family around.

With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, we’ve seen firsthand some concerning trends in home remodeling.
While many homeowners dream of a high-end kitchen, bathroom, or full-home remodel, the reality is that most people simply can’t justify the cost. What most families truly need is a remodel that is simple, functional, beautiful, and built to last.

We’ve also seen a growing need among the elderly population for safer, more functional living spaces that support aging in place and provide peace of mind for both homeowners and caregivers. Too often, families are forced into debt just to make essential updates that should be accessible and affordable.

That’s why we started Sozo Home Renovations.

We believe quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and ADA-friendly accommodations shouldn’t come with an overwhelming price tag. Our mission is to provide well-crafted, functional, and attractive remodels at realistic, affordable prices—without sacrificing integrity or quality.

The name Sozo comes from the Greek word meaning to save, restore, or make whole. To us, that reflects exactly what we want to do: create spaces that are not only functional, but also peaceful, healthy, and life-giving for the people in our community.

At Sozo Home Renovations, our goal is simple: to serve our community with integrity, compassion, and excellence—offering the very best in customer care, craftsmanship, and pricing that we can.

Our Mission

Our mission at Sozo Home Renovations is to provide quality, dependable renovation services by creating safe, functional, and lasting spaces. As a faith-driven business, we approach every project with compassion, integrity, and excellence—treating each home and each client as we would our own, and using our skills to serve others with humility and excellence.

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
